Kubiak made the admission on NFL Network in the aftermath of the Seahawks’ 29-13 Super Bowl win over the New England Patriots on Sunday.

When asked about his future as a head coach, Kubiak initially remained tight lipped and said: ‘That’s up to God. We’re just going to enjoy tonight.’

But he then crumbled, adding: ‘You guys know I’m going to Las Vegas. I’m fired up about it. Hell yeah I’m going.’

‘We have to be disappointed. We have to be upset. We have to be those things together.

‘We can’t be divided. We can’t be front runners. We can’t be a good teammate and care about the team and doing the right thing only when you win.

‘Sometimes in this game you lose and you still have to be able to do those things. Hopefully they will.’

‘It’s unbelievable. Everything that has happened in my career, to do it with this team I wouldn’t want it any other way. I’m so proud of our guys. I can’t say enough great things about our defense and special teams.
