Silent Hill: Townfall Not Coming To Xbox At Launch, Along With A Few Other State Of Play Titles
Last night, we highlighted all the games from February 2026’s State of Play event that are also coming to Xbox (over 15 of them!), but we should also mention that a couple of big ones unfortunately aren’t scheduled for Xbox just yet.
The big absentee right now is Silent Hill: Townfall, which many had expected to release on Xbox at the same time as other platforms, but that’s not the case — at least as things stand. The game’s reveal trailer only mentions PS5, Steam and the Epic Games Store as platforms, and so does the press material we’ve seen since the event.
Some of the other games that are missing Xbox at launch are Kena: Scars of Kosmora, 4Loop, Yakoh Shinobi Ops, seemingly Konami’s Rev.Noir, and then all the first-party stuff you’d expect like the God of War Trilogy Remake.
Altogether, we’re only missing out on a handful of games from the State of Play on Xbox, and we’re still hopeful that the likes of Silent Hill: Townfall and Kena: Scars of Kosmora will find their way to Xbox at some point in the future, similar to what we’ve seen with the likes of Silent Hill 2 and Kena: Bridge of Spirits.
Here are some of the games from last night’s event that are set to miss Xbox at launch:
Silent Hill: Townfall
Experienced entirely in first person, Simon must explore, evade, and survive using a limited set of weapons and tools, including the CRTV, a pocket television used to tune into unstable signals. Evasion is tense; combat is frenetic, while narrative driven puzzles reveal a truth that refuses to stay submerged.
Kena: Scars of Kosmora
Kena: Scars of Kosmora expands the action, adventure, & combat of its award-winning predecessor as the player traverses a vibrant island filled with buried secrets, wandering spirits, epic bosses, and distinct cultures.
4:Loop
Game Director Mike Booth breaks down the gameplay systems that make 4:LOOP an endlessly replayable co-op shooter, built around emergent combat, player choices, and dynamic encounters.
Yakoh Shinobi Ops
Four Shinobi lurking in the darkness. Silent as shadows, racing through the night. To complete their deadly mission, they master their arts—hiding, sparing lives, deceiving—as they venture toward either death or salvation. Evade the relentless pursuit of immortal Hunters, and only by returning alive will their mission be fulfilled.
Rev.Noir
In a world shrouded in lightfall, a natural phenomenon that brings death to those it touches, A lonely boy who suffers from amnesia becomes acquainted with a special girl. Together, they set out on a journey to stop this phenomenon, Believing that the journey will save the world, and in turn, save her.
