Snake Eyez releases new tier list for Street Fighter 6, declares Ryu to be ‘amazing’ but slightly overrated

The December patch for Street Fighter 6 implemented notable changes for Sagat, Elena and Mai. Of course, Capcom has apparently taken notice of the fact that the fighting game community is unsatisfied with the impact of the changes and frequency of updates at this moment.

Regardless, the changes were seemingly impactful enough to elevate Sagat’s position on tier lists. Just recently, Snake Eyez created a new tier list for the latest version of Street Fighter 6.

According to Snake Eyez, the best characters in Street Fighter 6 right now are Ed, Mai, JP and Blanka. Some viewers were wondering why Ryu wasn’t also featured in the S tier category along with these four.

Snake Eyez noted that Ryu was “amazing,” but felt as though the fighter is being overrated a little bit by the community. M. Bison, Terry and Akuma can also be observed to be in the A+ tier group alongside Ryu.

Sagat and C. Viper of Season 3 are both in the A tier category with Sagat being near the top. We’ll just have to wait and see where Alex and Ingrid end up once they become available.

Jamie and Manon are said to be the very weakest combatants right now, resulting in their placements in the C tier group. They sit just below E. Honda, Zangief, Lily and Marisa.
