Super Rare Announces ‘Toree & Friends’ Physical Switch Collection, Pre-Orders Open Next Week
I see no point in playing the gaming equivalent of junk food when there’s so much better available elsewhere. Yes, they’re cheap, but time is money too.
A few of these games were included in the Super Retro Platformer Collection that got a retail release in Asia a couple of years or so ago (which also included the crappy “Definitive Edition” version of Keen Dreams, which was why I bought it at all).
But good for those who wanted a physical version. There are countless other games that are more deserving of this kind of treatment though, and 4,000 copies seems oddly optimistic considering how long some of Super Rare’s less impressive releases have been sitting in their inventory (and how frustratingly understocked some of their hotter acquisitions have been).
Macbat 64 had some glaring typos right out of the park, which put me off from playing it any further. Your game can’t be cheap, ugly, and full of typos.
