Sydney Sweeney Flaunts Her 30-Lb Weight Loss After ‘Christy’ Role For Her Lingerie Line

Sydney Sweeney‘s latest lingerie brand release and photoshoot have the internet buzzing, and it turns out she’s come a long way to look like that for those viral snaps.

Last year, the Euphoria actress revealed that as she was promoting the boxing biopic movie she starred in, Christy, she had gained and lost 30 pounds. Sydney had bulked up prior to filming to look more like the famous boxing athlete, but in order to get back to her normal life and in shape for her other projects, like shoots for her new lingerie brand, Syrn, which launched last week. Sydney Sweeney Recalls Losing 30 Lbs After Filming ‘Christy’

The 28-year-old actress had a busy 2025, promoting several films and projects, including Christy, a biopic about professional and champion boxer Christy Martin, who was the first female boxer to enter the Boxing Hall of Fame in 2016.

For the movie, Sydney had to undergo perhaps the most dramatic transformation she’s ever done for a character, sporting dark, curly hair, and more notably, bulking up to appear like a woman who had been training to become a boxer for years. In interviews, the actress recalled going through an intense training regimen, getting stronger, and putting on around 30-35 pounds.

However, they ended up being 30 pounds she needed to lose again to return to her usual body type for the next season of Euphoria and her movie The Housemaid. Her routine involved dropping all the added protein and fat she was consuming to bulk up, and following a “super strict” diet for a few months.

“When you stop working out and taking all your protein shakes, you lose muscle super fast,” she told People. “It’s the first thing to go before fat. So, that, I dropped within two weeks. I don’t want to say this is super easy, but I’ve been a very active person my entire life. Like, I was a super active kid, and I’ve always kind of just stayed active and always had a good metabolism. I can gain weight, but I can lose it too.”

Aside from her film and television projects, the Anyone But You star was also cooking up her non-acting-related business venture, a lingerie brand called Syrn. In interviews, she felt inspired to create lingerie and bras that were functional, stylish, and more comfortable at the same time.

“I wanted to build a lingerie brand that feels like it understands women instead of talking at them,” she told ELLE. “As the sole founder, my vision was to create something that lives in real life and doesn’t hold anyone back.”

As she announced her brand, she also released a series of promotional photos where she modeled her sets, underwear, and more, showing off her bombshell figure once more.

After fans caught a glimpse of the pictures on platforms like Instagram, they had to cheer her on.

“She’s literally living her best life,” wrote a follower.

“You look amazing and beautiful!” added another.
