Place a copper golem statue in-game
The cape is a majestic piece of clothing, and nothing screams fashion more than striking a pose. So that is exactly what we’re all going to do! Place a copper statue in-game (Minecraft: Bedrock Edition only) before 10am PDT October 20, 2025. That’s it. Pick a pose, pick a spot, and place it in one of your Minecraft worlds and voila!
There are two ways you can complete this challenge in-game. You can either wait for one of your copper golems to fully oxidize into a statue, pick it up and place it again for it to count towards the challenge – or you can just use Creative Mode. If playing in Survival, don’t get distracted by that gorgeous green hue and forget about the picking up and placing! The pick-and-place is key here. The move is probably going to be trending on TikTok by the time you read this, that’s how important it is!
The choice is yours, chum! Whatever you decide, place that gorgeous copper golem statue and you’ll get your cape sent to you by October 31, 2025 so you can continue building with copper in style!
Take on the WatchTime Quests
The Copper Cape can also be yours through a series of WatchTime Quests on Twitch or TikTok. On TikTok, watch 3 minutes of Minecraft on any Game Reward enabled stream. On Twitch, visit one of the Twitch partner or affiliate channels streaming in the Minecraft category, and watch 5 minutes or more of their stream. Once you have the code for either WatchTime Quest, go to http://minecraft.net/redeem and enter code to unlock your cape before November 19, 2025.
Claim it in-person at MCC/Twitchcon in San Diego
If you prefer to make an appearance in the real world, the cape can also be yours through an in-person giveaway of codes at TwitchCon in San Diego between October 17-19, 2025. Rock up to the Minecraft booth and get your very own physical code to your very virtual yet real Copper Cape that you can redeem at http://minecraft.net/redeem by November 19, 2025.
The final time frame for the challenge is October 13, 8 AM PDT to October 20, 10 PM PDT. Congratulations for reaching the end of the challenge, and once again – great work! However you earn your cape, I hope you feel fabulous in it. The only thing more beautiful than the copper cape is this community. We did it!
*Participation in this challenge and use of the in-game cape reward requires Minecraft: Bedrock Edition or Minecraft: Java Edition (each sold separately). To earn your in-game cape complete one of these options between 8am PT October 13 and 10am PDT October 20, 2025:
