These are the best new MacBook deals right now: March 2026 Buyer’s Guide
In the era of Apple Silicon, MacBooks are more affordable than ever. Nowadays, you can buy a MacBook Air with 512GB of storage and 16GB of memory for $1099 directly from Apple, when such a configuration would’ve cost $1599 just a few years ago. And on top of that, we have MacBook Neo bringing the entry-point down substantially.
Even with Apple’s prices coming down though, there’s still a number of deals to be found out there if you look just a little.
MacBook Air
Up until the launch of MacBook Neo, the MacBook Air represented the entry point to Apple’s laptop lineup. Despite MacBook Neo making its value proposition slightly questionable, I’d still say MacBook Air is a great laptop if you want a better experience without needing anything premium.
MagSafe, a P3 color display, Center Stage on the webcam, and more battery life are just a few of the highlights with MacBook Air. It also comes with a 15-inch size variant, unlike MacBook Neo which only offers 13-inch.
Right now, you can find these great deals across the MacBook Air lineup:
- M4 MacBook Air 13-inch: 256GB storage, 16GB memory – $899 on Amazon ($100 off)
- M4 MacBook Air 15-inch: 256GB storage, 16GB memory – $949 on Amazon ($250 off!)
- M5 MacBook Air 13-inch: 512GB storage, 16GB memory – $1049 on Amazon ($50 off)
- M5 MacBook Air 15-inch: 512GB storage, 16GB memory – $1249 on Amazon ($50 off)
This isn’t every configuration imaginable – you can find the rest on the respective Amazon product pages, though. Right now, you can fetch $50 off M5 models across the board – and $250 off the last generation M4 15-inch MacBook Air, which in my opinion is quite a steal!

MacBook Neo
This product doesn’t need a long explanation – MacBook Neo is Apple’s first affordable MacBook, coming in at just $599.
It has some compromises compared to the aforementioned MacBook Air, but it’s still incredibly good for the price. Build quality, display sharpness, and the macOS experience are all essentially uncompromised. Sure, you have to deal with a slower A18 Pro chip (though trust me, it’s no slouch), lesser ports, and 8GB of memory, but it’s perfectly reasonable for the price. It also comes in fun colors like Citrus, Blush, and Indigo.
There’s no retail discounts on MacBook Neo right now, though if you’re a student, you can fetch $100 off from Apple. Otherwise, you can buy one on Amazon:

MacBook Pro
At the top of the lineup is MacBook Pro. You get the best of the best, though there is one major caveat. Apple is reportedly redesigning the high-end variants of MacBook Pro later this year with OLED, touchscreens, and thinner designs.
That redesign will only debut with the M6 Pro and M6 Max chip, though – so if you’re someone buying the base model with the M5 chip, you’re still in the clear to buy a new MacBook today. Same applies if you don’t care about the redesign at all, since M5 Pro and M5 Max are still incredible new chips.
14-inch MacBook Pro deals:
- MacBook Pro with M5: 1TB of storage, 24GB of memory – $1799 on Amazon ($200 off!)
- MacBook Pro with M4 Pro: 512GB of storage, 24GB of memory – $1799 on Amazon ($200 off!)
- MacBook Pro with M5 Pro: 1TB of storage, 24GB of memory – $2149 on Amazon ($50 off)
16-inch MacBook Pro deals:
- MacBook Pro with M4 Pro: 512GB of storage, 24GB of memory – $2399 on Amazon
- MacBook Pro with M5 Pro: 1TB of storage, 24GB of memory – $2649 on Amazon
- MacBook Pro with M5 Pro: 1TB of storage, 48GB of memory – $3049 on Amazon
- MacBook Pro with M5 Max: 2TB of storage, 36GB of memory – $3849 on Amazon
While M4 Pro will perform better than M5, it isn’t necessarily competitively priced on the 14-inch, so choose wisely. For the 16-inch, M4 Pro comes with the 512GB option still, allowing you to save a little bit compared to M5 Pro, which starts at 1TB.
