Two shadow fleet tankers adrift in the Mediterranean Sea
The shadow fleet tanker Progress is adrift in the Mediterranean north of Algeria with a load of more than 700k barrels of Russian oil. Its speed was reported at one point as one knot.
Another shadow fleet tanker is in trouble near Gibraltar. This is the same ship that broke down in December in the Baltic near undersea cables.
The ship’s behavior fits the same pattern as the Russian cargo ship Ursa Major. The crew reported an explosion that caused a loss of propulsion, after which the vessel drifted for days before reportedly sinking with submarine nuclear reactor components aboard.

Spot on.
Video has been released of the French Navy seizing the shadow fleet tanker Grinch.
A tanker seized here and another seized over there is a drop in the bucket compared to the overall number of shadow fleet tankers.
The big hit comes near the end of this video.
Ukrainian drones take out Russian drone operators.
Russia using freshly made missiles is significant if it means that Russia is running low on existing stockpiles.
Maybe Putin was pissed that he didn’t get a Golden Ticket.

I predict we will be hearing about this unit’s exploits in the future.
That’ll be a big mess to clean up.
Khabarovsk is north of Vladivostok along the Amur River and the border with China.
But don’t worry, because America is sending Coalie to help.
Russia feeds 930 of its expendables into the meat grinder. Plus 4 tanks.
Let’s check in on the Russian economy.
Khakassia is in southern Siberia.
A telling example is Khakassia. There, education, medicine, and emergency services workers have been left without payments. At the end of 2025, the accounts of 30 schools and kindergartens were blocked due to debts, and the problem has still not been resolved.
In the intelligence service, they name the key reasons: a drop in prices for coal, oil, and metals, a reduction in export and small business income, an increase in social spending, and a lack of access to credit.
This is not an isolated case: similar problems are being recorded in at least 15 regions of Russia. In the Kemerovo region, 75% of coal companies are operating at a loss.
In the SZRU, they note that even subsidies from Moscow won’t save the situation — the tax base of the regions is rapidly shrinking, and there are almost no resources left to close the holes in the budgets.
Ground drones have become vital for evacuating the wounded.
Quad bikes don’t protect Russians any better than Chinese golf carts or scooters.
Orban is as challenged by geography as Trump. NATO has been on Russia’s border, which includes Kaliningrad, for years — i.e. Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland — plus now Finland is a NATO member.
Putin wants Trump to forget about negotiating with Ukraine and Europe and just cut a deal with Russia.
That will go over as well as a fart in an elevator.
European leaders who sucked up to Russia for years will find themselves consigned to the dustbin of history.
Hollywood joins in on helping to whitewash Russia.
Russia displays its raw cynicism and hatred even as it pretends to negotiate for peace.
Last night, Russia conducted massive drone and missile strikes on Kyiv and Kharkiv, the county’s two largest cities, and then posted the following message in the morning:
“Kyiv residents, flee the city. Kyivans, get out of the city.
Neither district shelters nor bowls of soup on the streets will save you. There are far more of you than there are shelters and soups.
Tonight should have finally shown even the most foolish that the city is doomed to be shut down. It will be shut down.
A return to normal life will not begin until your defeat is acknowledged and recorded.
Your bosses, who have been using you for the past four years, do not want to admit defeat and will not do so as long as they are alive.
Therefore, everything that is happening in the city now is just the beginning. It will not get any better until the end of the war.
The faster the city empties, the faster all this will end. The faster you escape from it, the better you will be able to settle in a new place.
Do not expect things to be better in the city than they are now. Do not even hope that they will not get worse. Run.
Kharkiv and Dnipro residents, this also applies to you.” Source: АДЕКВАТ Z
