U.S. Figure Skater Isabeau Levito Makes Request Before Olympic Village Eviction
Isabeau Levito is scheduled to make her Winter Olympics debut in the Milan Cortina Games on Tuesday with the women’s singles figure skating qualifying round. Joining her in Milan, Italy, are fellow U.S. figure skaters Alysa Liu and Amber Glenn. The trio have been marketed as the Blade Angels.
Despite being just 18 years old, Levito is one of the more exciting women’s figure skaters in the United States. She was the World Championships silver medalist in 2024 and the gold medalist at the 2023 U.S. Championships in San Jose. She also has the gold from the 2023 World Team Trophy in Tokyo and the 2022 World Junior Championships in Tallinn, Estonia. She has eight international medals overall.

While Levito has not yet competed at the 2026 Winter Olympics, Liu and Glenn skated in the women’s portion of the team event in the Games’ first weekend (Feb. 6-8). Levito takes to the ice for the first time as part of the 30 skater field in the women’s individual event. The top 24 finishers advance to Thursday’s free skate.
When discussing her Olympic experience, Levito jokingly requested that she not be “evicted” from the Olympic Village following her competition because she was having too much fun.

“I’ve spent every night in the village,” Levito said. “It’s been everything and more. And you can’t evict me. … I don’t think there’s anything not to enjoy. Haven’t even gotten to compete yet and I feel like my experience is already complete. Not complete, but just, I’m having a blast. The best time. … I feel like I’m exactly where I want to be and I’m so glad that things have aligned and worked out for me to be here. And I’m excited for the opportunity to compete.”
The short program is scheduled to begin at 12:45 p.m. ET on Tuesday. Levito, Liu and Glenn will skate in the fifth and final group of six.
