Wisconsin volleyball cancels spring match at Sonnentag
EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) – The University of Wisconsin volleyball team has announced they are cancelling their previously scheduled match vs. the University of Minnesota at The Sonnentag on Friday, April 10th.
The team announced in a statement that they are cancelling the contest due to “a precaution for the teams’ health and safety.” The teams did not disclose the specific health and safety concerns that prompted the cancellation.
According to both teams, the match will not be rescheduled. Wisconsin women’s volleyball will still take part in their other two remaining spring matches at UW-Green Bay on April 18th and against Northern Illinois at UW Field House on April 24th.
