Xbox Series X Gets Major ‘Just For You’ Discount On The Microsoft Store
It’s been a long time since Microsoft gave us any kind of meaningful discount on the Xbox Series X, but certain Xbox fans are suddenly noticing that a major “Just For You” deal has started appearing for them on the Microsoft Store!
This discount sees the Xbox Series X being reduced by up to 50% off, although the specific deal seems to be different for some people. We’ve seen multiple confirmations of this “Just For You” discount for the Xbox Series X over on Reddit, with the example below showing the 1TB Xbox Series X Digital Edition being reduced by over $250!
As always with “Just For You” deals, Microsoft only targets them at certain people, and it seems Xbox One users are the main target in this case. It’s apparently mentioned that the discount is “based on factors such as subscription, usage, or purchase behavior”, which is why more regular Xbox Series X and S users may not be getting it.
It also appears that it might be limited to the United States right now, but this has yet to be confirmed, and there’s every chance it could roll out to more regions in the near future too.
To check if you’re eligible for this discount on Xbox, you’ll need to go to the Microsoft Store app on your console, and then scroll all the way down on the main “Home” page until you get to “Consoles and Accessories”. From there, hit the “Xbox Consoles” button to see a list of Xbox Series X and Series S systems that are purchasable.
If you’re not getting the special deal, don’t fret — Microsoft is also discounting Certified Refurbished Series X and S consoles for everyone (in some regions) right now, allowing you to save up to $100 on a used system instead. You can find these by searching for the word “Certified Refurbished” on the Microsoft Store app on your Xbox console.
Hopefully the “Just For You” discount continues to appear for more and more people throughout March and April!
