Zac Efron’s Funny Reaction to Brother Dylan Efron’s ‘DWTS’ Scores Caught on Camera
Zac Efron not only made headlines after making a surprise appearance in the Dancing With the Stars audience but also delivered a priceless moment that fans couldn’t stop talking about.
The High School Musical star was all smiles as he cheered for his younger brother Dylan Efron as he competed in the semi-finals, proudly joining the crowd to show his support.
The actor even brought along an adorable date, their 5-year-old sister Olivia, who sat on his lap and enjoyed watching her brother show off his dance moves.
At one point, host Julianne Hough shared a behind-the-scenes snap on X, with the 38-year-old, calling them a “supportive brother and sister.”

During the show’s Prince Night, Dylan Efron and his pro partner Daniella Karagach performed a tango to the legendary 1984 hit song “I Would Die 4 U” as their first dance of the evening.
Their performance earned high praise from judge Derek Hough, who applauded the 33-year-old influencer for his “strong frame,” giving the pair straight 9s and earning an impressive 27 out of 30.
Amid the celebration and the crowd cheering for Dylan Efron and his partner, his older brother found himself in a slightly awkward moment.
The 17 Again star turned to his mom and asked “are those good scores?” to which his mom nodded, prompting him to break into a proud cheer for Dylan.
Unfortunately, the incident was caught on camera, sparking hilarious comments from the public.
“He’s never seen a single second of this show oh man,” one wrote.
“It’s out of 10 Zac!!!! Yes, that’s good!” a comment playfully noted.
A fan poked fun and said, “Zac heard people talking shit that he hasn’t been there to support.”
“Zac not knowing what’s going on when his brother’s been competing for 10 weeks and he’s had multiple friends compete on the show,” a commenter added.
“Probably thought the scale went to 100 lmaoooo,” a commenter on X said.
“Lmaooo, clearly Zac has not been keeping up DWTS,” a different user echoed.
Despite the playful reactions from the public, Dylan Efron expressed his genuine happiness after seeing his “support team” present during the semi-finals.
“My whole family was there,” he told Extra TV, adding that it was his little sister who served as his good luck charm.
As for their score for this week, he admitted that they were “shocked” but also “stoked” and happy yet “nervous about this week.”
“We weren’t expecting to hear our names and it shocked us,” he continued.
Unfortunately, Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas were eliminated this week, which means Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa, Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy, Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten as well as Robert Irwin and Witney Carson will be joining Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach in the upcoming episode.
