Jude McAtamney paid the price for his two missed PATs in the Giants’ historic loss to the Broncos on Sunday.
McAtamney was cut Tuesday, as first reported by The Post, as the Giants plan to move forward by either elevating Younghoe Koo from the practice squad or activating Graham Gano from injured reserve.
The Giants also gave up 33 fourth-quarter points, but head coach Brian Daboll isn’t making any coaching staff changes.
It remains to be seen if the defensive depth chart will be tweaked.
McAtamney, who made the Giants in 2024 with an international roster exemption, missed three PATs in the last two games.
He beat out Koo — an NFL veteran cut by the Falcons earlier this year — for the job after Gano was injured.
Gano kicked Tuesday, on the Giants’ off-day, so the team could determine if he is ready to return, The Post’s Paul Schwartz reported.
It remains to be seen if McAtamney returns to the practice squad, where his roster spot would not count toward the maximum.

The Giants also re-signed cornerback Korie Black to their 53-man roster off the Jets’ practice squad.
Black, a 2025 seventh-round pick of the Giants, chose to sign with the Jets’ practice squad over the same offer from the Giants in September.
Defensive tackle Elijah Garcia took linebacker Jonas Griffith’s spot on the practice squad.
