October is wrapping up, and all signs indicate Apple has new hardware and software releases coming in November. Here’s everything to expect.
iOS 26.1 and more software updates

Apple is expected to launch its next big wave of software updates this coming week.
iOS 26.1 packs a bunch of new features, including the following:
iPadOS 26.1 also reintroduces Slide Over as a companion to the existing windowing system. It lets you designate an app to float above all other windows for a new multitasking method that works with iPadOS 26’s powerful additions.
Most of Apple’s other 26.1 updates are relatively minor, aside from macOS Tahoe offering a similar Liquid Glass ‘Tinted’ option like iOS.
Three or more new hardware products rumored

Historically, Apple tends to make its last major product announcements for the year in October.
This year, we did get the M5 iPad Pro, MacBook Pro, and Vision Pro. But there are three other new products still rumored to launch this year, almost certainly as November debuts.
A new Apple TV 4K is coming with an upgraded A17 Pro chip that should enable Apple Intelligence support. Apple’s N1 wireless chip will also be included, and there’s even a chance of a built-in camera.
HomePod mini 2 is also rumored to launch alongside the Apple TV. It should bring improved audio quality, upgrades to several internal chips, and may come in new colors.
AirTag 2 has been anticipated for months but still hasn’t arrived. When it does, it’s expected to boast an upgraded Ultra Wideband chip for better Precision Finding, plus improved security features.
Apple might also surprise with a budget-friendly 12.9-inch MacBook just before the holidays, though rumors around timing indicate early 2026 is more likely.
The first iOS 26.2 betas

Following its usual pattern, Apple is expected to ship the first iOS 26.2 betas shortly after iOS 26.1’s public launch.
That means beta testers could get access to iOS 26.2 as early as this coming week.
If not in the week ahead, the new round of 26.2 betas should arrive no later than the second week in November.
Apple typically releases its x.2 software in mid-December before the holidays hit. That deadline crunch means it will be especially important for Apple to start the beta testing process—and it’s already slightly behind, with iOS 26.1 launching a week later than usual.
Highly anticipated Pluribus series on Apple TV

Apple TV has a diverse lineup of shows and movies premiering in November, all of which you can find here.
The standout, however, is easily Pluribus, which debuts on Friday, November 7.
Pluribus is a new sci-fi drama from Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul creator Vince Gilligan.
Due to Gilligan’s involvement, the mysterious subject matter, and Apple’s cryptic marketing, Pluribus has become one of the streamer’s most highly anticipated premieres of the year.
The New York Times recently called Pluribus “as big as modern TV gets,” stoking hype for a Severance-sized hit for Apple.
