RollerCoaster Tycoon YouTuber builds ride lasting 194 quattorseptuagintillion years
A RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 YouTuber has created the longest ride ever with a coaster so extreme it would take 194 quattorseptuagintillion years to finish.
For context, that’s roughly 2 followed by 227 zeros. It’s a number so large it makes the age of the universe, around 13.8 billion years, look tiny in comparison.
The creator, Marcel Vos, is known for pushing RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 to its absolute limits. His previous “Universe Coaster” was already absurdly long, but this new build, dubbed the “Googol Coaster,” takes things to another level entirely.
Since the game has strict limits on park size and the number of rides you can build, Vos couldn’t just make a longer track. Instead, he found a way to stretch time itself inside the game.

The trick lies in how rides are triggered. Normally, one ride can be set to wait for another, creating small delays. Vos expanded on this by building massive chains of rides that only activate under very specific conditions.
The YouTube creator then took it a step further by using park guests as part of the system.
Each guest has different preferences for ride intensity and nausea. By carefully designing the park, Vos forces certain guests down specific paths. Most guests end up looping through harmless rides, while only a few trigger the next stage of the coaster.
This creates a compounding delay. Each section multiplies the total ride time, and with 100 of these sections chained together, the final number becomes almost impossible to comprehend.
Getting it to work wasn’t easy. Guests can get tired, hungry, or unhappy and leave the park, which would break the entire setup. Vos had to carefully control food, seating, ride stats, and even weather conditions to keep everything stable.
He also uncovered and fixed issues in OpenRCT2, the modern version of the game, where guest behavior didn’t match the original mechanics.

The end result looks less like a theme park and more like a complex machine built to generate the biggest number possible, all inside a game released in 2002.
And after all that time? The ride doesn’t even end cleanly. In a cruel twist of fate, Vos had one final trick in store for any guests unfortunate enough to be stuck on the Googol Coaster.
“After waiting all that time, a time so long that it’s impossible to even conceptualize it, these guests finally have the station in sight, but instead they go out with a bang,” he explained.
In typical Rollercoaster Tycoon fashion, Vos made it so the train crashes.
It’s unclear if the YouTuber will ever be able to make a ride long enough to top this, but given Vos’s incredible knowledge of the game, there’s always a possibility.
